Tacos Al Pastor Done Right
Marinated, slow-cooked pork with that classic char — the way tacos al pastor are supposed to taste. Available at all 8 Brito's Burrito locations.

What Makes Al Pastor, Tacos Al Pastor
It starts with pork marinated in a blend of dried chiles and spices, then cooked until the edges char and crisp up. The technique traces back to Lebanese immigrants in central Mexico who adapted vertical spit-roasting to local ingredients — it's one of the more interesting origin stories on any taco menu.
At Brito's Burrito, it's one of our most popular protein choices — equally good in a burrito or bowl, but it's the tacos where that charred edge really shines. We make it fresh in-house, not shipped in pre-cooked. Pair it with onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime for the classic combination, or build it your way with any of our house-made salsas.

Can I get tacos al pastor in a burrito or bowl instead?
Yes — this protein is available across our burritos, bowls, and quesadillas, not just tacos.
Is it spicy?
It has flavor from the marinade but isn't intensely spicy on its own — add one of our hotter salsas if you want more heat.
